Vineyards to Villages (V2V) was founded to address the harsh reality that access to clean water remains a key public health issue around the globe. Through V2V, the Sonoma County wine industry is “turning wine into water” by funding clean water infrastructure, sanitation facilities, and hygiene education at rural schools in East Africa.
V2V is a partnership between the Sonoma County wine industry and a Sonoma County-based nonprofit, Global Partners for Development. Global Partners supports schools and community-based organizations to manage education and health interventions that generate lasting change for local people. Through an innovative community-driven model, partnership between Global Partners and V2V makes clean water a reality for another person with every $5 donation.
