Why do I need to create an account?

The weekly wine offers and wine club membership are private and exclusive to our subscribers. Creating an account gives you access to each offer and to learn about news and events including each SIP Virtual Wine Tasting & Education broadcast.  Additionally, your account gives you access to purchase history and Loyalty Rewards.

What if I forget my username and password?

Use the “Request a new password” link at the login screen and an email with a password reset link will be sent to you right away.

Will my credit card information be saved?

Here at Cellar Angels we take your security seriously.

Our servers do not store, or even process your card details. This information is processed by our checkout partners on their own independent servers, which use the latest security standards and are constantly monitored to keep up to date with the latest developments in security technology.

Once you’ve placed your first order, your credit card is securely stored for future purchases, these will be stored by our checkout partner in an unreadable format.  We can then request access to charge these when you place your next order, without us ever even seeing your card details!

Am I able to cancel my account?

You will be able to cancel your account, but in doing so you will no longer have access to the exclusive offer pricing.

What is a CVV?

CVV is an anti-fraud security feature to help verify you are in possession of your credit card. For Visa/Mastercard/Discover, the three-digit CVV number is printed on the signature panel on the back of the card immediately after the card’s account number. For American Express, the four-digit CVV number is printed on the front of the card above the card account number.

Is there sales tax charged on my purchase?

The winery has built sales tax into the price of the wine.

I’m under 21. Can I buy wine for someone over 21?

No. You must be 21 or older to purchase wine. We have three levels of security regarding age verification and it’s something we take very seriously. If you’re attempting to bypass this security we will know and involve law enforcement accordingly.

Is there a limit of wine I can buy?

All orders over 5 cases will be individually reviewed for legal compliance. Also, we want to make certain everyone who desires purchasing has ability to do so and on rare instances may limit purchase amount due to limited availability of wine.

Do I receive additional information about the wine(s) I order?

Absolutely. You will learn about the winery and the specific wine via video interviews on our website. We also provide information about the vineyard, region and winery along with tasting notes and general food pairings.

Can I send wine as a gift?

Yes, but it depends to which state you wish to ship. For more information, see shipping section.

How does Cellar Angels select wines and wineries to work with?

Through decades of connections and relationships in the wine industry, we have access to hundreds of small-production, often family-owned, artisan wineries producing fine wine.

Will a featured wine ever be offered again?

Periodically an offer is so well received members will request another “shot” at securing more. Cellar Angels will make every effort to work with the winery on these instances to re-run the offer.

Why is my wine order taking so long to arrive?

What is it like outside where you live? The fulfillment centers utilizes discretion when shipping to your area based on weather conditions. Your shipment may be held until suitable conditions are forecast. During mid-summer and mid-winter months, it may not be safe for wine transport. The goal is to make certain your wine arrives in perfect drinking condition. Please contact  at any time if you have questions about your shipment or if you would like to upgrade an order to expedited or temperature controlled shipping method.

To which states can Cellar Angels’ winery partners legally ship wine?

Our winery partners can legally ship to all states EXCEPT: Mississippi, Michigan & Utah. If your state is listed above, we recommend visiting www.freethegrapes.org to create a personalized message to your state legislators letting them know your frustrations concerning winery shipping restrictions!  In addition, many wineries do not ship to Alaska and Hawaii.

Will I receive a tracking number for my order?

Your order will be shipped from a central fulfillment location. An email notification with tracking information from the fulfillment center will be sent when your order is shipped. Please contact  if you have not received an email notification or if you have any questions related to your shipment. We are happy to help and offer updates.

What if I am not present when the shipment arrives?

All alcohol-related shipments require a signature from an adult over 21 years of age. If you or someone over 21 is not available at time of delivery, consider shipping to your place of employment.

Why is an adult signature required for delivery?

Federal law mandates all alcoholic products shipped via UPS or FedEx require an over 21 adult signature for delivery.

What if the delivery service cannot obtain an adult signature?

If the delivery service (e.g. UPS, FedEx) cannot obtain an adult signature after multiple delivery attempts, the package may be returned to the winery. Expenses associated with re-delivery of a wine shipment are the responsibility of the customer.

Can I place an order and ship to multiple addresses?

Each order can only be shipped to a single address. If you want to send shipments to various addresses, you will need to place separate orders.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Once an order is placed, you will be unable to change it within your account profile. Please contact us directly at [email protected] within 12 hours of placing an order with any change requests.

What if I have received damaged or incorrect products?

If you received products that were damaged during transit or incorrect, please contact  directly. Please do not dispose of any product before speaking with Customer Service.

Can I return a product if it is bad, damaged or incorrect?

What inspired Cellar Angels to allow customers to give back to charity?

The founders of Cellar Angels have a passion for giving back. Through virtual wine tasting and education events, our corporate clients and small groups of customers can host a wine tasting in support of a good cause. A portion of proceeds from wine sales for that event will be donated to that cause.

Is my purchase tax-deductible?

No. IRS code prevents a customer from claiming a purchase, or part of a purchase, as a tax-deductible donation.
