About The Vineyard

As the saying goes, location, location, location! This famed vineyard, perhaps one of the most sought after vineyards in Napa Valley, is the fruit source for this little hidden gem. It was recently purchased by Gallo for $180M, which means the fabulous small lot wines previously hand-crafted from this vineyard by producers like Blackbird, Pahlmeyer, Aaron Pott’s private label and of course, Angelo Cellars, may go away once their contracts expire. So we say, be in the moment and enjoy it while you can.

Winemaker Notes

Until now, this wine has only been available to Angelo Cellars private clients

Made of premium fruit from the Stagecoach Vineyard in Napa Valley

Aged in 50% new and 50% used French Oak barrels

Bottled Aug 2018

An intense tart dried black cherry flavors show up front to the mouth.  Intensity subsides in the mid palate to a lovely raspberry finish. The tannins show beautifully with a balanced acidity with a nice subtle oak flavor.
