Food Pairing Suggestions
While Chardonnay easily adapts to the introduction of oak, it really shows off its natural fruit flavors when fermented and aged solely in stainless steel. Try this fresh, fruit driven wine with light dishes like linguini, clams and shrimp scampi. Salads, antipasto, sushi and seafood dishes are also great pairings. Doing a cheese plate? Focus on soft to medium-hard cheeses.

Until now, Winemaker Peter Tonti of Tonti Family Wines focused exclusively on estate grown Russian River Valley old vine Zinfandel. This is Peter's first Chardonnay offering and vineyard source was carefully selected as per all his wines.
About The Vineyard
The Redwood Valley in Mendocino County is a cooler area lending it a gradual ripening leading to a nice full flavor profile maturity retaining natural acidity. The vineyard is planted to the much sought after Wente clone, small clusters planted on AXR/1 Rootstock.
This Unoaked Chardonnay was fermented and aged in stainless steel.
