Tasting Notes by Greyscale Wines
Dark red color, almost opaque. Soft-entry to an elegant, medium-body wine with flavors of black cherry, blackberry, red raspberries with a touch of dried herbs. A well-balanced wine with lush mouthfeel, polished tannins, and a finish that goes on and on.
Food Pairing Suggestions
Cabernet Sauvignon, bold and powerful in style, is meant for similar food accompaniments. If paired properly, it can produce the meal of a lifetime. Because of its stronger tannins, pair with fattier meats like beef steaks, beef and pork roasts, venison, lamb and hamburgers. Also serve with mushroom dishes and meals with herbs and pepper. Hard cheeses can be a nice compliment.

About The Vineyard
The Cabernet grapes came from a famed vineyard in Rutherford located in the middle of the valley between Conn Creek and Silverado Trail. The vineyard, first planted in 1895 by Mrs. Thomas Rutherford, has provided grapes for many prominent Napa Valley Cabernets. The vines are 30 years old and grafted with Clone 4 Cabernet grapes that have a strong flavor intensity with excellent color, aromas and palate balance. This particular vineyard is known for producing wines with elegant, silky fruit rather than powerful, blockbuster flavors as found in some Napa Valley cult wines. Every time we taste wines produced from this vineyards we are reminded of the elegance and soft mouthfeel of the wine.
