“The grapes were rinsed with water as they went through sorting and then crushed as a whole cluster with only 1 bar of pressure. This ensured limited time on the skins. The color was achieved by adding 1.5% by volume of regular production Pinot Noir.” – Winemaker John Viszlay

About the Winery
Viszlay Vineyards
Just a few years ago the Viszlay family fulfilled their dream of owning a winery. John Viszlay uprooted his life and relocated to Russian River Valley where Viszlay Vineyards was born. A stunningly beautiful and thriving 10 acre vineyard, it is as diverse as it is picturesque, with 12 varietals grown on their property including Prosecco.
