Winemaker Notes
Cuvée ’42 pays homage to our patriarch, J. Frank Cage, and his lasting legacy. In 1942, J. Cage designed and built the beautiful art deco styled Lamar Blvd. Bridge over Lady Bird Lake leading into downtown Austin, Texas. Austin has designated the bridge an Austin Landmark and it is a Registered Historic Place.
The bridge’s six art deco spandrels reflect in perfect symmetry upon the waters of Lady Bird Lake. Cuvée ’42 Pinot Noir demonstrates the same balance and artistry upon your palate.
