– When picked in the beginning stages of ripeness Viognier has an aroma of peach blossoms and gardenias, which remind us of springtime, hence, the name of this blend. It tends to focus its flavors on the front of your tongue while Marsanne pulls them to the back of your mouth to create balance and a wine that has more flavor than weight.
