Food Pairing Suggestions
Mountain fruit is lean with so much complexity. Pairing this wine with more sophisticated dishes will be a memorable meal. Consider these: Prime rib and sautéed mushrooms, braised short ribs, roasted duck with pecan purée, beef tenderloin with blackberry sauce and grilled flank steak with salsa verde. Hearty Cabernet Sauvignon is also a great match with aged hard cheeses.

About The Vineyard
Goosecross sources grapes from some of the most prestigious and exciting locations in Napa Valley; from the sloping vineyards of Howell Mountain, to the shores of San Pablo Bay in Carneros. This Cabernet Sauvignon comes from the high slopes of Atlas Peak, where temperatures can be up to 10 degrees cooler than the valley floor. This ensures long, even ripening, yielding an elegantly textured and complex wine that ages incredibly well.
Winemaker Notes
“Our Summit Selection wines have been crafted to celebrate vineyard sites that push the boundaries of farming and winemaking. Single-vineyard sites especially, demand more dilligence in the vineyard and longer hours in the winery, We’re proud of all the wines we grow and compose; Summit Selection, we feel being one of our best. We hope you’ll enjoy raising a glass and sharing this special wine with friends and family.” – Vintner Christi Coors Ficeli
