Winemaker Notes

This Cuvée is an homage to my Grandfather, his love of wine, and his time in Bordeaux.

It is bursting with flavors of concentrated cassis, currant, dark plum, coco, violet and a slight hint of vanilla and spice. Enjoy now or let it lay down for a little while and pull it out for a special occasion. We love to enjoy it with a beautifully cooked steak.

Aging: 30 months in 40% New French Oak /100% French Oak

Appearance medium ruby
Aromas cassis, black cherry, baker's chocolate, black truffle, cigar box, leather, tomato leaf
Palate blackberry, plum, Earl Grey tea, bakeshop spice, balanced acidity, well integrated tannins, extended finish
Food Pairing Suggestions
meats off the grill, roasted vegetables and mushrooms
