Gold Arrow to View More

The inspiration behind SIP events was, at first, to provide wine aficionados a platform and forum to gather for virtual wine-tasting parties while sheltering in place.

Today, years later, SIP virtual wine tasting & education events offer so much more than virtual wine tasting alone.

The community of “sipsters” that has developed is one in which exclusive wine-industry insiders and oenophiles gather to discuss everything viniculture-related and learn from each other.

WINE COUNTRY, UNDISCOVERED: ONLINE WINE TASTING

Gain hands-on limited, insider access to limited production small-batch winemakers and industry experts - and our community of sipsters!

These informative, interactive, and exclusive wine webinars feature carefully-selected topics pertaining to the production of hand-crafted wines from world-famous wine regions Napa Valley and Sonoma - yet they're free to attend.

What is "Vine Grafting" and Why is it Done

Renowned Winemaker Nick Goldschmidt of Goldschmidt Vineyards joins live to educate us about vine grafting. Vine grafting is the process of joining tissues of two different grape vine plants together so they continue to grow as one plant. This is a practice in place since Roman times but became vitally important, and much more popular in the 19th century. We'll learn why.
