ABOUT CALLUNA VINEYARDS
David Jeffrey had a life long dream to make wine. In 2001, at 44 years of age, David and Marla Jeffrey moved to California from the east coast to pursue that dream. After attending the Enology and Viticulture program at Fresno State and apprenticing in Bordeaux, they set out to find the perfect cool climate property to grow Bordeaux varieties. A parcel of land at the top of Chalk Hill AVA was the perfect fit and 22 years later you are drinking passion in a bottle.
