Winemaker Jason Drew and his wife Molly started Drew Family Cellars in 2000 with the goal of creating the ultimate expression of Pinot Noir and Syrah in the northern coastal ranges of California. Only three miles from the Pacific Ocean, this winery relies on the cooling effects of the coastal fog and winds to influence the outcome of their wines. Incorporating traditional winemaking methods such as using native yeast, hand punch downs and gravity racking, the Drews believe in minimal intervention to allow the pure personality of the grapes to shine in their wines.
