Paul Maroon fell in love with wine country years ago, when he called on Napa Valley clients during his career in medical device sales. After forty years in sales and a growing respect for wine, Paul took a leap of faith and moved to Napa in 2000 to begin making wine.
A decades long dream realized, Paul has been growing grapes and making elegant wines ever since. His estate property is located in the Coombsville AVA of Napa Valley, an ideal location for growing Cabernet Sauvignon. In addition to the King of Grapes, Maroon Wines’ portfolio offers a wide variety of selections, including Chardonnay, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Zinfandel, Sauvignon Blanc and gourmet olive oils. What they don’t grow themselves, they source from locations ideal for each particular varietal.
