Monticello Vineyards, owned by the Corley Family in Napa Valley, is proud to be a family owned and managed winery for fifty years.
Founder and Napa Valley legend Jay Corley came to Napa Valley in 1969 seeking land to plant and grow Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. In the 70s, Jay started selling fruit to the likes of Christian Brothers, Far Niente, Grgich Hills, Sequoia Grove and others. Then, the Judgement of Paris wine competition occurred in 1976 and put the Napa Valley on a world-class wine region map.

Five decades later, sons Kevin, Chris and Stephen manage the sustainably-farmed and solar-powered wine estate, which includes a replica of Founding Father Thomas Jefferson’s home in Virginia.
The Corley’s overarching philosophy is that great wines are made in the vineyards. This is why they have made such a tremendous commitment to ownership of the most suitable land for their grapes. Monticello Vineyards produces limited production, award-winning wines in the Oak Knoll District AVA in Napa Valley.
