Sandole Wines

Sandole Wines is a family owned micro-winery focused on the finest single vineyard grapes. The winery was conceived from a life-long love of wine and deep rooted family history in the area. With sustainable farming practices dating back to the late 1800’s, the ranch battled phylloxera and Prohibition but found their grape resurgence in 1987 with the planting of a new six acre parcel of Pinot Noir and Zinfandel soon after.

Many have inquired about the origination of the name “Sandole”. The idea came from a guest after a barrel tasting. In true winemaking fashion, he suggested “blending” the first names of two women in the family who inspired the brand. The first half of Sandee and the second half of Nicole joined as a trade name for Sand-ole Wines.
