Opportunities usually come when you can least afford to take advantage of them. But not so this time. This time in gratitude for a favor I did for someone some fifteen years earlier, I was offered the chance to invest in my own winery operation. As a senior citizen I wondered, should I take this kind of a risk? Am I willing to work that hard? A business startup at my age, seventies, would require more work than I had done for years. But, since it had been on my bucket list for so long, I said to myself, if not now, when? It was not a mistake. Yes, I work hard, but if you love what you do, it isn’t work.
The moral of the story is, if you have a dream, follow it. We only go around once.
